Silent Auction

Large-scale events are costly to run, with many “silent” costs that guests usually don’t even think about. Porta-potty rentals, insurance, Special Event permits, burn permits, credit card processing fees… the list goes on and on. We rely on the generous support of our sponsors, sales of event merchandise in our store, and our silent auction to make sure our bills are covered, and we can continue this event for years to come. Our Silent Auction is one of our top fundraisers for the event, with every dime raised going back into the event to make sure we can offer you the best experience possible.

Fall Fest will include a silent auction on Saturday in the Bi-Centennial Building. We already have some really great prizes (a custom wooden geocoin display, or 1 of 1 factory sample TRACKABLE  geocoins, anyone?) but would love to see what YOU can contribute to this awesome activity.

Do you have a drawer full of unactivated trackables that need a new home? Do you knit, crochet, sew, quilt, or own a Cricut? Are you known for your 3D-printed cache containers, your creative gadget caches, or own a small business that’s looking for exposure in the geocache community? Donating to our silent auction is a great way to contribute to the event without having to become a full-blown event sponsor.

We would love to accept your silent auction donation. Check out our Silent Auction Item Drop Off times on the event schedule, or contact Pasha88 to make your donation ahead of time - large items can be stored starting in May, while smaller items will be accepted any time.  We will be posting silent auction items on our social media pages starting in February, so you can see all the cool items that will be available for bid in September.

During the event, feel free to stop by to browse the many items and place a bid on a bid sheet for items you would like to take home. Simply write in your name and a bid amount (at least $1 more than the previous bid). If there’s something you really want, you’re going to want to hang out during the final minutes of the auction, to make sure you remain the highest bidder!  Bids and names must be legible to be considered!

When the auction ends, we'll compile the results and post the winners near the front doors of Bi-Centennial Building. We ask that you please pick up your items between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday afternoon. We will have a printed receipt ready for you to pick up your items. We accept cash, e-transfer and credit/debit card payment for your convenience (please note: a $1 fee will be added to credit card transactions to cover the cost of payment processing). All bids are in Canadian dollars. US cash will be accepted at a 30% exchange rate.

**Items are donated and as such, we can make no guarantee to the quality, usability, or condition. All items are sold as is and all sales are final.**
