Monthly Subscription Packages - A Whole New Way to Win Prizes
For 2026 we are trying something new - a monthly subscription package that is delivered to your door each and every month (from March to August) with items that will help you solve some of the event puzzles to unlock even more prizes!
In 2026, we will be releasing a set of 7 puzzle caches that are specifically designed to be VERY difficult to solve. Think of it as our answer to the Going Caching Pre-Event Puzzle Shirt... but slightly easier to mail. Within the monthly subscription boxes, you'll find tools and codes that you will need to solve these 7 puzzles before you get on site so you have the chance for FTFs, bonus tickets, prizes, swag, and extra swag.
Six of the puzzle caches will need to be solved and found before working on the 7th "bonus" final cache - each of the 6 intermediate caches contain a piece of the larger puzzle you will need to solve to access the final. Why is finding the final so important? We're making it worth your while - the FTF of the exclusive bonus cache gets prizes valued at more than $100 at the Closing Ceremonies of Fall Fest 2026, plus each finder will go on our Wall of Fame and get additional prize tickets and prizes for completing the series.
You're welcome to team up and form solving groups to help you crack the codes and decipher our clues... but there is only one FTF prize for the 7th bonus cache. Will you be the one to earn it?
By purchasing a monthly subscription package, not only are you supporting the event and making sure we can offer even more prizes and goodies in 2026, you will get exclusive access to puzzle solving tips from the FF Puzzle Queen herself, plus tricks, hints, cipher codes, code words, Easter eggs, and a TON of really great swag. Plus, you're probably going to want to bring all of your subscription box items with you to FF26, as you never know when these things may become useful at the event...
What's Included in my Subscription?
Each Subscription package will contain the following, shipped to you:
-Two enamel Pathtags
-Decoder sticker
-Coupon for 10 additional prize tickets (redeemable at FF26)
-Puzzle Cheat Sheet, Tips & Tricks (or possibly red herrings... you never know with the Chiefs of Shenanigans)
-Additional swag (buttons, pins, Flashtags, CacheHunters cards, decoder rings, etc)
Each subscriber will also receive an exclusive trackable tag that will also help decode a piece of the puzzle, delivered in August of 2026.
This means that at a minimum, a full subscription will include:
-12 exclusive (hidden in the gallery) enamel Pathtags
-6 decoder stickers
-60 additional prize tickets
-6 Puzzle cheat sheets
-1 exclusive trackable tag
plus whatever else we can fit in your package and still have it be shipped by lettermail to you on a monthly basis.
How much does a Subscription cost?
We are offering several different options for subscriptions to the Monthly Subscription Package, depending on how you wish to pay:
Option 1:
One time payment of $80 CAD (including all taxes and fees), ordered through the Square Store or in person at one of our events (interac e-transfers should be sent to
Option 2:
Monthly recurring payment of $15 CAD (including all taxes and fees), ordered through our Square Store ONLY, for a total payment of $90 CAD. Your $15 monthly payment includes all shipping costs and items listed above.
Option 3:
Purchase individual subscription boxes on an ad-hoc basis for $16 CAD, after the monthly subscriptions have been sent out (amount available is limited to any remaining stock after monthly packages are distributed). These will typically be added to the event store after all packages have been distributed, or may be available for in-person purchasing at our monthly events. Puchases can be made using a credit or debit card on our Square site, or by e-transfer in person. Your $16 payment includes all shipping costs.
Option 4:
If monthly subscriptions aren't your thing, limited numbers will be available for purchase at the event, in the on-site event store, while quantities last. All quantities are based on what is available after monthly subscriptions are sold, so we cannot guarantee that full sets will be available for purchase.
When will I receive my Monthly Box?
We are busy geocachers, with real lives, jobs, tiny humans, dogs that think they are tiny humans, and families. We will make every effort to send out the packages on or around the first of each month, starting March 1st. Assuming normal service with Canada Post and USPS, you should receive your items within two weeks. If you still have not received your subscription box by the 21st of the month, please contact us so we can discuss options with you. We will not reship any packages until at least 21 days after the original mailing date of the boxes.
How are packages sent?
Subscription packages include shipping costs for standard letter mail within the US and Canada. If you'd prefer your monthly box to come with tracking and insurance, please reach out to us (as this is significantly more expensive and will require additional shipping costs to be paid).
What happens if I subscribe after March 1st?
If you are interested in a subscription, but don't see this information until after the first package(s) have gone out, we will send you all previous monthly packages at the same time that we ship out your first package. For example, if you subscribe on May 19th, your first subscription box would go out on June 1st along with the boxes for March, April and May. This means you would get 4 packages in June, one in July and one in August to complete your subscription.
When will these Caches be published?
The six intermediate caches will be published sometime in early September 2026, to give you ample time to solve the clues prior to arriving for the event. The bonus puzzle cache will be published on Thursday, September 24th to give everyone attending FF26 an equal opportunity to solve it and claim the FTF.
