Kid’s Club
Whether you've got tiny geocachers in tow or teenagers who still insist they're "just here because they have to be," the Fall Fest 2026 Kid's Club has something for every young adventurer! Best of all, every activity is included with your event registration, and there are plenty of opportunities to win prizes, make new friends, and burn off some energy between caches.
Kid's Club Q & A
Who can participate?
The Kid's Club is open to all geocachers under the age of 15 (physically... not mentally). If you're old enough to pay taxes, you'll have to let the kids have this one.
Does it cost anything?
Nope! Every Kid's Club activity is completely FREE with your Fall Fest registration.
Do I need to sign up in advance for the kid's club?
No sign-up is required. Simply stop by the Kid's Club in the Lions Building whenever you're ready to join the fun. However, we highly recommend pre-registering using our Square store so each member of your family gets to participate in the fun and games.
Where is the Kid's Club located?
New for 2026, we've moved the Kid's Club into the Lions Building. It's indoors, has plenty of room for activities... and perhaps most importantly, it's safely away from those pesky bees!
Do parents need to stay?
Yes. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children during all Kid's Club activities.
Can kids win prizes?
Absolutely! We've got some fantastic prizes reserved just for our youngest geocachers, including adorable Fall Fest 2026 Moose Mascot stuffed animals, geocaching goodies, and lots of other surprises.
Can kids earn door prize tickets too?
They sure can! Many Kid's Club activities earn tickets for the main door prize draws, and those tickets can be placed into whichever prize baskets they want.
When do I pick up my colouring contest page?
Colouring pages will be available at the Registration Table beginning Wednesday and must be picked up before Saturday afternoon. Be sure to return your completed masterpiece to the Kid's Club by Saturday afternoon so our judges have time to choose the winners.
Kid's Club Activities
Colouring Contest
Show us your artistic side! Pick up a colouring page from Registration anytime between Wednesday and Saturday morning, take it back to your campsite (or the Kid's Club) to colour it, and return it by Saturday afternoon for judging. We'll have several age categories and some fantastic prizes for our winning artists.
Cowboy Hat Decorating
Every cowboy (and cowgirl) needs a proper hat. We'll provide the supplies—you provide the imagination! Decorate your own western masterpiece with stickers, feathers, ribbons, gems, and whatever else our craft table has to offer. Best of all, you get to take it home at the end of the day!
Cache Decorating
Ever wondered what your dream geocache would look like? Here's your chance! Decorate a cache container using all sorts of fun craft supplies, then take it home as a souvenir (or maybe even hide it someday with a parent's help!).
Design Your Own Stickers
Become an official Fall Fest designer! Create your own custom sticker using our art supplies, markers, and templates. Whether it's western themed, geocaching themed, or completely ridiculous, we can't wait to see what you come up with.
Kid's Stampede Roundup
Think of this as the Kid's Club version of Village Visits Tour! Travel around the Fall Fest grounds finding letterbox-hybrid style caches and collecting stamps along the way. Once you've rounded up all of your stops, bring your completed card back for a special prize.
Junior Roping Competition
The grown-ups aren't the only ones who get to show off their cowboy skills on Thursday afternoon! Kids have their own age categories in the Roping Competition (check the main schedule for more details), giving everyone a chance to lasso their target and compete for prizes.
Junior Barrel Racing
Ready... set... GO! Our kid-friendly Barrel Racing competition lets young cowboys and cowgirls race the course in their own divisions while competing for ribbons, bragging rights, and prizes. Kids have their own age categories in the Hobby Horse Barrel Racing competition (check the main schedule for more details), giving everyone a chance to race their trusty steed around the barrels pattern!
Plus... Almost Everything Else!
Kids are welcome to participate in almost all of the activities happening throughout Fall Fest, including Stampede Bingo, Icebreaker Bingo, Guessing Games, the Chuckwagon Building Contest (with their family's campsite), Adventure Labs, on-site geocaches, and much more.
The only activity reserved for adults is the Toonie Toss, since the prize baskets contain age-restricted items.
No matter what your young geocacher enjoys—crafts, games, running around, or hunting caches—we've made sure there's plenty to keep them busy all weekend long. We can't wait to see all of our future geocachers at Fall Fest 2026!
